Morgan’s father, Tommy, was a pastor in a local church while his mother, Lesli, was a teacher. He has two sisters, Ashline and Mikaela He did his graduation from Gibbs High School in Corriton, Tennessee. He was a good baseball player during his school days. But he discontinued it later due to injuries in his elbow.
Since childhood Morgan has been fond of music. He began singing in churches at the tender age of three and started playing violin at five. He used to play piano and guitar during his boyhood.
Wallen and his ex-girlfriend KT Smith have a son Indigo (Indie) Wilder Wallen, born in July 2020. In spite of being busy in his career, Morgan looks after his son properly. He is single. He had broken off his relationship before his baby was conceived.
Wallen’s wish was to pop up in The Voice. So he started working with a vocal coach, Sergio Sanchez of Atom Smash. Gradually he progressed and started competing.
He has competed in the sixth season of ‘The Voice’ being a member of Usher’s team. Later he competed as a member of Adam Levine’s team. For some reason, he was eliminated from the playoffs of that season. He released his debut EP, Stand Alone, in 2015 after joining Panacea Records.
Wallen desired to sing “Stay” by Florida Georgia Line. In an interview, he said that after this performance, he was eliminated. And so, he never participated in live shows. Despite controversies, he achieved great success in his music career.
He has released three studio albums, three extended plays, twelve singles, and 13 music videos.

In 2019, Morgan won the New Artist of the Year by Country Music Association Award and also won Best New Country Artist award by iHeartRadio Music Award.
In 2020, Morgan rewon Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist and Top Country Album awards by Billboard Music Award.
In the year 2021, the series of becoming winners continued and he won Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album by Country Now Awards and by Academy of Country Music Awards, he received Album of the Year for his album Dangerous: The Double Album.
The year 2022 also bestowed upon him Favorite Male Country Artist and Favorite Country Song by American Music Awards for his album ” Wasted on You.”

In his subsequent remarks, Wallen explained how Church inspired him to pursue a career in country music. Wallen stated, “When I first started getting into country music, his lyrics and the way he developed the pictures made me want to do the same.
The singer elaborates on this idea by saying that he views his own father as an example of how to handle both Indie and KT.
“My father is the best example for me. I merely want to resemble my father. To ensure our happiness as a family, many sacrifices were always made for my sister and me.” Morgan elucidates. He always set a fantastic example for me regarding how to treat my mother.
