Going by the name of Destiny Hope Cyrus, Miley was born on November 23, 1992, in Tennessee. Her parents, Leticia Jean Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus were already involved with the glam and limelight life, so keeping her step in this industry somehow seemed normal for her. Miley has four siblings, Braison, Noah, Trace, and Brandi, who have established themselves as successful entertainers in the singing, music, and acting industries.
Before Cyrus was roped in for a lead actress role in Hannah Montana, she lived with her parents in Thompson’s Station. But once she started her acting career, her entire family had to move to Los Angeles. Cyrus continued with her education at Options for Youth Charter Schools. However, it was only after they moved again to Toronto, Canada, that she started receiving music and singing training from Armstrong Acting Studio.
Miley Cyrus auditioned for the friend of the female lead character in Hannah Montana because the directors considered her too young and short for the protagonist. But later on, when everyone witnessed her impeccable singing and acting abilities, she got to participate as the female lead in this musical series that premiered in 2006.
